CropSense Crop Nutrition
Nourishing crops for optimal growth in production. The trends tell the story and you see the results. CropSense Nutrient Analysis (NA) has broad application for a wide
range of crops grown in a variety of irrigation and production systems.
As with SMM, the effectiveness of the NA system, once levels have been
monitored, depends on the immediacy and precision with which nutrients
and other crop inputs can be delivered to the crop’s root zone.
Field installations that use T-Tape drip irrigation products —
featuring reliable, precise, and long-lasting water and nutrient delivery
— are well suited for CropSense NA. Combining both sap (SAP) and quick soil (QS) analyses for key elements,
either on a biweekly schedule or at specific crop stages, NA crop readings
are calibrated against levels from a unique proprietary database containing
optimal nutrient profiles for over 110 crops at all specified growth
stages. The SAP analyses measure the nutrient levels in plant sap; the
QS analyses measure the nutrient levels in the soil solution and the
root/soil interface. Interpretation of these samples is facilitated
through an integrated nutrient calculator. SAPs and QSs are highly effective
in detecting short term changes in the nutrient levels and the impact
of environmental factors. These analyses and database comparisons, while
the proprietary intellectual property of T-Systems, are made available
to growers through a secure and easy-to-use visual dashboard, online. |
